The Morgan County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Family and Consumer Science, Horticulture, Livestock and 4-H Youth Development Programs.

Aimee Kanode, 4-H and Youth/Horticulture Agent   arrow

Aimee Kanode has the position of Youth and Horticulture Agent. Kanode, originally from Haxtun, Colorado, was very involved in 4-H in Phillips County during her youth. After high school Kanode served as a Colorado FFA State Officer in 2010-2011, and then moved to Texas where she attended college at Tarleton State University. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Communication in 2014 and then went on to pursue a Master’s of Science in Agriculture Consumer Resources, graduating with this degree in May 2016. Kanode currently lives in Fort Morgan, has a dog, and enjoys being in the rural area of Morgan County. She is excited to be a part of the Morgan County Extension Office and looks forward to spending the summer getting acquainted with the youth and programs within the communities.
