WHAT IS THE MORGAN COUNTY 4-H EXCHANGE & HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Have you ever…wanted to travel? Meet new people? Learn about 4-H in another part of the country?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then you are the right person to get involved with the 4-H Exchange program.

Morgan County 4-H members will be traveling to southeastern Michigan, Washtenaw County, 50 miles west of the city of Detroit in the summer of 2019. Washtenaw County 4-H members live in rural areas, a few in small towns, and some on farms.

Each Morgan County member is paired with a youth from Washtenaw County that they will stay with, for a week, mid-summer.  Youth will tour local and state businesses, attractions and landmarks. This will complete the two year exchange with Washtenaw County, Michigan. Members participate in year-round fundraising to help pay for traveling expenses.

Want to get involved in 2020-2021 exchange? Contact Aimee Kanode at the Extension Office at 542-3542.
