The Morgan County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Family and Consumer Science, Horticulture, Livestock and 4-H Youth Development Programs.

Marlin Eisenach, Livestock Agent   arrow

Marlin Eisenach is the Extension Livestock Agent in Morgan County. Marlin was born and raised in Fort Morgan, Colorado. He received a BS in Animal Science and Agronomy from Colorado State University. After college, Marlin went into production agriculture, farming and raising cattle, sheep and hogs.  He spent 20 years in this profession prior to accepting the job in Extension, January 1988. He serves as the Extension 4-H Livestock Task Force Chairman, the Colorado Pork Producers Council Director and a Colorado State Fair and National Western Stock Show Livestock Superintendent. Marlin coordinates the Morgan County 4-H Catch-It Animal program in which 75 youth have the opportunity to participate yearly.  He assists with Extension Agents at AgFest, Livestock Camps, Seminars and Youth programs. Marlin has chaperoned youth to 4-H Congress and Citizenship Washington Focus.
